I have just found out that I am pregnant. When i checked my health cover I am only covered for $5000, is this enough? What are the costs associated with pregnancy? I have no idea!!!

I wouldn't think so. You need to find out exactly what this $5000 is meant to cover: what if you need a caesarean? does it cover anaesthetist fees if you need an epidural? Does it cover special care nursery if your baby needs it? There are lots of variables..

Public is better, I've heard private don't really care as much.. Public hospitals you don't pay at all.
