Nope, you'll be fine, although you're right about the sheep jokes, you'll get sick of them pretty soon, but they'll just keep coming anyway. There are heaps of Kiwis at Unis here, and everywhere else for that matter. You guys are like honorary Aussies anyway, part of the furniture almost.

lol well I'm an 'aussie' going to university and I can't vouch for all Australians cos you know, we'renot all the same but generally you'll be very well accepted. and yes, you're right you will get the sheep jokes, I'm sorry, some people just can't help themselves! fush n' chups will also be another one you might get 'teased' about but it's really all in good faith =)

No you wont be singled out. My son went to The University of Western Australia for his masters after getting his degree at Otago. He made some great friends for life. and you will come across many nationalities. If any jokes come your way just ignore them . They're not mean't to offend and hopefully many you meet will be more mature than to be offensive .
